There are different methods for printing patient payment receipts depending on where the payment was collected.

Payment Collected in the EHR

If you collected the payment in the EHR, you can print the receipt from the EHR’s “Patient Payment Report”. See Collecting a Patient Payment in the EHR - Step 4.

Payment Only Posted in Elation Billing

At this time, formal Patient Payment receipts are not available within Elation Billing. However, you can print the Patient’s History to show receipt of payment.
  1. In Elation Billing, navigate to the patient’s page.
  2. Select the History button in the lower-right. Image
  3. To print, use the Printer Icon in the upper-right corner of the History.
