To ensure claims are processed correctly, it’s essential to verify the payer ID associated with a claim. Elation Billing offers multiple methods for locating or verifying the payer ID.

Method 1: Viewing the Payer ID in the Superbill

If you need to locate the payer ID from a Superbill within Elation Billing:
  1. Open the associated superbill.
  2. Navigate to the Insurance Coverage section.
  3. Click the Edit button in the insurance coverage section.
  4. Click Change and then find the Payer in the Payer List.
    • Click All Payers to see the full list if needed.
  5. The Payer ID will be listed next to the Payer Name.

Method 2: Using the Printed Claim

If you have already submitted a claim and have access to the printed format, the Payer ID is listed next to the Payer’s name.
