Elation Health is excited to announce our latest updates designed to enhance your experience with our EHR, Billing, and Developer Platform services. All of our releases focus on reducing documentation burden, streamlining workflows, and improving efficiency. Here’s what’s new:

Elation EHR Updates

PMP State selection for multi-state practices

Eliminate the risk of inaccurate PMP requests due to location discrepancies. Providers in practices with multiple locations across different states who use Bamboo PMP can now set their current practicing state, ensuring more accurate PMP requests and a smoother workflow. When a provider clicks “Check PMP”, they will be prompted to select their current state. This selection is saved to the computer they are using, so they won’t be asked again unless they switch devices. If a provider needs to update their state, they can easily do so by selecting “Edit PMP State” under the Med Hx dropdown in the toolbar. New Bidirectional Lab Interface

The following bidirectional lab integration is now available:
  • Tribal Diagnostics - a full-service, CAP-accredited clinical laboratory that partners with all providers but has a passion for underserved communities in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Missouri.
Bidirectional lab interfaces enable eOrdering in addition to eResults, ensuring efficiency and accuracy when placing lab orders and reducing administrative burden and paperwork for your practice. Elation is thrilled to offer these integrations at no additional cost to its valued customers. Refer to our Bidirectional Lab Interface guide for more information.

Refinements to Lightning Insights

Get clearer, more actionable insights with a smoother experience. We’ve introduced several small but meaningful enhancements to Lightning Insights that improve clarity, usability, and visual presentation:
  • Simplified date display: Date values in the visualization tables** are now shown in a single column (e.g., Feb 7, 2025 or Feb 2025) instead of separate Year, Month, and Day columns, making the data easier to read and work with.
  • Report date context: When viewing a report, you’ll now see the date range used to generate the report displayed clearly beneath the report title.
  • Visual enhancements: We’ve added more intuitive snapshot report names, clearer row indicators (+ / - replacing up/down arrows), and color-coded rows (green for increases, red for decreases) to make changes stand out at a glance. Additionally, the KPI reports have been renamed for clarity and consistency.

Developer Platform Updates

Webhook subscriptions for Document updates

Stay informed about changes to important documents! Integrators can now subscribe to receive webhooks when Document Tags (Doctags) are updated for the following document types:
  • Visit Notes
  • Non-Visit Notes
  • Letters
  • Reports
