Overview
What type of actions can I take on documents within the Fax Inbox?
You can take the following actions on documents within the Fax Inbox:- If there are any pages within a document that you do not want to store in the patient’s chart (i.e. fax cover sheets, blank pages), you can delete those pages from the Fax Inbox before filing the remainder of the document to the patient’s chart.
- If any pages are not oriented properly, you can rotate those pages before filing the document to the patient’s chart.
- If there are any faxes that are not associated to any patients (ie. supply order forms, medical newsletters), you can print those pages out for external use and then delete those documents from the Fax Inbox afterwards.
- If there are any faxes you do not need (ie. advertisements), you can delete those documents from the Fax Inbox.
- If the documents need to be stored in the patient’s chart, you can file them to the matching patient.
