Clearer processing engine selection

It is now easier to select the processing engine you wish to use to generate each note. Simply click Scribe and then go to Personalizations -> Processing engine and choose one of the following.
  • New version (recommended)
    • Have Note Assist generate the full note at the end of the visit.
    • Results in a cleaner more high quality draft.
  • Legacy version (retiring 12/31/25)
    • Have Note Assist generate the visit note draft every 5 minutes instead of after you stop recording.
    • May result in more verbose and redundant notes.

Merge feature for Elation Note users

For Elation Note users, a Merge Note Content button will appear after a recording completes. This will merge AI-generated content into the open Elation Note where it will avoid duplicates while preserving unique content from both the AI output and your edits.

Designated feedback button

A Feedback button will now always be visible for you to submit feedback about AI generated content.

Improved note generation

Note Assist, by default, will generate the visit note draft after you stop recording instead of while you’re recording.
  • A Setting, called Use legacy Note Assist, is now available if you prefer the previous note generation interval of every 5 minutes.
You asked, we listened. Our newest note-generation engine now delivers an entire, comprehensive visit note in a single pass—right after the patient encounter. The old real-time approach sometimes added noise and increased post-visit cleanup. With a renewed focus on quality and speed, this upgraded engine gives you an instantly polished draft so you can stay fully engaged with your patients and spend less time editing notes. Key benefits of Note Assist’s new engine:
  • Significantly More Succinct: Final notes capture relevant detail without unnecessary bloat or redundancy.
  • Worry-Free Editing: Providers can write into their note during the visit without the previous concern of conflict with scribe’s output.
  • High Quality Output: Early feedback from providers reported a significantly improved quality in scribe output, resulting in less post-visit editing of their notes.
  • Faster Note Generation: Quicker note generation at the end of the visit maximizes the precious seconds between patient encounters.

Problem List linking

When you and a patient discuss a condition already on their problem list, Note Assist will automatically add that problem to the Assessment, including your problem description and the ICD-10 code(s). If the patient presents symptoms related to that condition, Note Assist will use the problem name as a header in the HPI.

Enhanced Care Plan structure

Care Plan instructions are now organized by condition to clarify information and recommendations, allowing patients to better understand their follow-up actions.

Improved overall note quality

Note Assist now generates more consistent, relevant notes with better template alignment and polished medical language—helping you finish notes faster.

Preserving manual edits

To avoid overwriting manual edits to notes, Note Assist will now skip any bullets that were last updated by the provider—both new entries and modifications of content generated by Note Assist or imported from a template; as long as you are using the supported 2 column visit note formats.

Enhanced Template content

Note Assist is better at filling out visit note templates, allowing details and health information to flow more naturally into the final note.

Easier Synopsis updates

Use the new Add Synopsis button in each Assessment to quickly add bullets generated by Note Assist to theProblem List Synopsis in the Clinical Profile—making problem documentation faster and easier.

Protect specific content

To keep certain text exactly as written (e.g. signatures or standard phrases) in Visit Note Templates or in the visit note draft, add an asterisk (*****) to the beginning of the bullet. Note Assist will not modify these bullets.
