Overview

Certain Elation features (e.g. electronic prior authorizations for prescriptions) require you to allow third-party cookies in your web browser. Follow the instructions below to enable third-party cookies for your browser of choice.

Google Chrome

Allowing only Elation to use third-party cookies

To only allow Elation to use third-party cookies:
1Click the button that looks like three vertical dots in the top right-hand corner of Google Chrome.
2Click Settings .
3Click Privacy and Security -> Third-party cookies .
4Under Sites allowed to use third-party cookies click Add .
5Enter http://app.elationemr.com/ into the Site box and then click Add .

Allowing third-party cookies from all sites

To allow cookies from all third-party sites:
1Click the button that looks like three vertical dots in the top right-hand corner of Google Chrome.
2Click Settings .
3Click Privacy and Security -> Third-party cookies .
4Select All third-party cookies .

Enabling third-party cookies only when accessing specific pages in Elation

To only allow third-party cookies while you’re on specific pages in Elation:

2Click Cookie and site data .

Microsoft Edge

1Click the button that looks like three horizontal dots in the top right-hand corner of Edge.
2Click Settings .
3Click Cookies and site permissions. If your browser is too small, expand your browser to see the Settings Menu or click on the button that looks like three horizontal lines at the top left corner.
4Click Cookies and site data .

Mozilla Firefox

1Click the button that looks like three horizontal lines at the top right corner of Firefox.
2Click Settings .
3Click Privacy & Security .
4Click Custom .
5Check off the Cookies box and then select Cross-site tracking cookies, and isolate other cross-site cookies .

Safari

1Click Safari at the top of your Mac device.
2Click Settings… .
3Click Advanced .
4Uncheck Block all cookies .
