Frequently Asked Questions

How does Elation ensure data security and privacy with its AI service?
Elation’s AI powered features are built on reputable large language models from trusted third party providers. A list of Elation’s LLM providers can be found here. Elation uses enterprise versions of its LLM services that do not use your inputs to inform algorithms or train models. Your data is used only to provide the Elation services to you.
Can the AI make a mistake?
Yes. Like any tool, AI is not perfect and is intended to assist, not replace, your clinical judgment. This is why you are always in control to review, edit, and approve any AI-generated suggestion. If you encounter an inaccuracy, we strongly encourage you to use the integrated feedback options to help us improve the system.
Do I have to use the AI features? Can I turn them off?
Our goal is to make AI features seamlessly helpful and flexible, so you can use them in the way that best fits your workflows. If you have concerns about any AI features being enabled for your practice and would like them turned off, please contact our Support Team using the I need help -> Contact Elation Support button in the EHR.
Does Elation sell patient data?
No. Elation Health never has and never will sell patient data.
