CORE DEVELOPER · PRICING Core Developer is priced per provider, with one implementation fee and no usage-based charges. This page covers what it costs, how seats are counted, and the capabilities you can add on request.

Priced per provider

Added to your existing Elation subscription and billed on the same cadence and terms as your current contract.

One-time implementation fee

Paid in advance, covering initial setup, configuration, and technical onboarding.

Core Developer is an add-on to a Standard or Premium EHR subscription.

Add Core Developer to your subscription

Raise a request at app.elationemr.com/support, or contact your Customer Success Manager, with your provider count. Most practices are live in a single billing cycle.

02 — ADD-ONS

Capabilities you can request

These are not included in the base subscription. Each is requested through Support, and additional pricing may apply.

Document Signing API	Sign clinical notes and orders programmatically, setting `signed_by` and `signed_date` through the API.	Paid add-on. Requires an executed BAA, and an Admin User at your practice must review and accept the API document signing agreement, which covers clinical oversight and regulatory responsibility for documents signed this way.
Premium Patient Insurance API	Run real-time eligibility checks against patient insurance policies and retrieve full eligibility reports.	Requires Elation’s Real-time Eligibility product, a separate add-on at additional cost for Standard and Premium EHR subscriptions. Already included with Elation Billing subscriptions. Enablement for the API happens separately once Real-time Eligibility is live on your practice.
Care Gaps API	Programmatic access to care gap and quality measure data.	Requires a custom statement of work, because implementation takes real effort on both sides. Additional pricing may apply. Customers are scoped and vetted before enablement.
Additional daily Hosted Database refreshes	Your subscription includes one refresh per day, seven days a week. Additional daily refreshes shorten how stale your reporting data can be. Professional Services	Ongoing technical advisory and consulting beyond standard onboarding, with a named engagement manager and a recurring call cadence.	Custom statement of work. Raise a request at app.elationemr.com/support or contact your Customer Success Manager for a quote.

03 — NO USAGE-BASED CHARGES

Your bill doesn’t move when your traffic does

On the standard per-provider subscription described above, provider count is the whole variable. A metered API makes the cost of a backfill, a nightly sync, or a retry storm impossible to predict, which pushes practices toward under-building. Here you can run a full historical backfill, poll more often than strictly necessary, or rebuild an index without checking a budget first.
