The Elation API changelog and the Hosted Database release notes each publish an RSS feed. Subscribe to a feed and new entries reach you automatically, so you do not have to check the page for changes.

Subscribe in Slack

Slack posts each new entry to a channel you choose.
  1. Open the channel where you want the updates to appear.
  2. Send /feed subscribe [feed address], using one of the addresses above.
  3. Confirm the subscription when Slack prompts you.

Subscribe in a feed reader

Paste either address into any feed reader. The feeds are public and need no Elation credentials or other setup. If feed readers are unfamiliar, About Feeds explains how RSS works and lists readers to choose from.
