# Connectivity

Elation supports SFTP connectivity for HL7 interfaces. If you would like to establish a connection, you can choose one of the following options:

1. Elation-hosted SFTP – Elation provides and manages the SFTP server.
2. Vendor-hosted SFTP – The vendor provides and manages the SFTP server.

At this time, we do not support integrations via VPN or TCP/IP connections.

If you do choose to host the SFTP, ensure you securely provide the Elation Integration team with the following details to ensure connection is successful:

| SFTP Server Details | Description                                       |
| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------- |
| Vendor Name         | Exact name that will appear on the Elation result |
| Host Name           | Your host name                                    |
| Port                | Port number                                       |
| User Name           | Login username for Elation                        |
| Password            | Login password for Elation                        |
| Remote Path         | Folder path where we will fetch the results       |
