# Elation HL7 Interface

Elation has a set-up process to make it easy and efficient for our partners to implement an HL7 ORM and ORU interface. The purpose of this document is to provide information regarding the Health Level 7 (HL7) specifications by Elation.

Want to integrate? Let's get you started! The integration process is outlined here:

1. Review Elation HL7 ORM and ORU specifications.

2. Email [partnerships@elationhealth.com](mailto:partnerships@elationhealth.com) your laboratory's or imaging center's name and a full list of Elation providers who utilize your lab.

3. Use the Elation testing tool which will be provided to you to test all `ORUs` against Elation’s specifications.

4. When testing is complete, notify Elation, and Elation will work with the vendor to set up connectivity in production.
