# Setting Up Multi Factor Authentication

## How to Turn On MFA

* Log into Snowflake
* Click on your username in the bottom left corner of the screen and select **Settings**
* Select **Authentication**
* In the Multi-factor authentication section, select **Add new authentication method** and follow the prompts to configure your second authentication factor
