## Release Highlights

This release adds patient metadata fields to better align the HDB `patient` table with the patient view in the Elation EHR.

**patient: primary\_care\_provider\_id and primary\_care\_provider\_npi**

Practices can now report directly on a patient's assigned primary care provider without needing an additional join to the `physician` table. The NPI is included for interoperability use cases.

**patient: pronouns**

The patient's preferred pronouns are now available in the HDB, matching the field available in the EHR.
